1. Uh Oh, there'll be a clash on Saturday Night!
It was mentioned a few days ago on here, but here's the news in full. This Saturday, it's the battle of the talent shows as we have ITV's Britain's Got Talent vs BBC1's brand new The Voice.
VS
It's been rumoured and suggested ever since it was announced The Voice was gonna have a Spring première but now we have it confirmed. While the BBC had The Voice originally pencilled in to start at 7:15pm, but they changed it today to 7pm. Over at ITV, they originally had BGT pencilled in to start at 7:45pm, but changed it today to 7:30pm. The shows will clash for 50 minutes and it'll be a battle for the best ratings.
I reckon BGT will win this one, with The Voice being new and BGT always pulling in 10 million+, but that said maybe people will be interested in The Voice enough to watch it over BGT. Personally I'll be watching The Voice before I got to town. What will you watch? And who's gonna win this ratings battle?
2. Sherlock won't be along anytime soon.
Our favourite TV detective, Sherlock won't be back until late 2013 most likely.
Today, Sherlock executive producer Beryl Vertue revealed the shooting schedule for the third series of the hit show. She said the show will resume filming early 2013, but it's too early to confirm a transmission date for the episodes. The show stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock and Martin Freeman and Holmes. Show creator, Steven Moffat gave fans hope at the end of series 2 by saying they wouldn't have long to wait for more Sherlock, but Vertue quickly confirmed there would't be any Sherlock till 2013.
I LOVE Sherlock. The last episode shown was the best piece of television I've ever seen. I can't wait for more!
3. There's a baby Saturday!
Saturday's member Una Healy has given birth to a baby girl!
Una and partner Ben Foden have named their little girl, Aoife Belle Foden. Aoife is a traditional Irish name and means beauty. She weighed 7lbs 13oz. The England Rugby star announced news on his Twitter account posting "I am officially a Dad!!!!!! Una an baby are both amazing and healthy!!!! So proud of them both! #babybenuna (sic)."
All other other girls from The Saturdays posted on their Twitter accounts to congratulate the couple. Congratulations Una and Ben! Can't wait to see pictures.
4. You sunk my Battleship.
You heard about the film Battleship yet? You know the one with Rihanna in? Aye that one. Here's another trailer.
I do love a good pointless action flick! Explosions! Rihanna! Aliens! Rihanna! Mass Destruction! and Rihanna! Seriously what is there not to like? Will you be checking it out? Hits cinemas 11th April 2012.
